Despite best intentions, it’s not always possible for bookings to go ahead. Perhaps there’s been some bad weather or a particular pitch is in need of rescue maintenance. There are also everyday situations that prevent teams and individuals from making their bookings. The Pitchbooking system is fully equipped to deal with refunds and cancellations. This includes payments made online or via cash/card over the phone or in person.

When the booking is cancelled, availability is immediately freed, allowing other customers to book and pay for the now available slot. You don’t need to advertise that cancelled slots are now available. Customers will see the available slot instantly, when they go online to book.

Online bookings made on pitchbooking can be automatically issued a refund upon cancellation, with the booker getting their money back into their account at the click of a button.

Bookings made via cash or card are refunded through the original means of payment. This could be through a till point of sale or card machine.

In addition to refunds, Pitchbooking has a built-in reconciliation feature that is linked to every booking. This includes bookings made by customers and also manual bookings made by staff.
