Back Football & Recreation Club

We are a Community Sports Hub and Centre located in the Broadbay area of the Isle of Lewis. We offer a wide range of facilities including a large indoor hall, an enclosed all-weather pitch, a full-size grass pitch, a golf driving range, a games room, a community gym and a fully-fitted kitchen.

We run a range of clubs, classes and community events throughout the year such as badminton, bowls, fitness classes, a youth club, a weekly toddlers group, an annual Christmas fayre, and more. Our facilities also play host to a range of externally organised clubs such as Island Archers and An Lanntair's Creative Play.

We are also home to Back FC which was founded in 1933. Thus, football plays a massive role at the centre and we have football clubs for children right through to our senior team.

Our main priority at Back Football & Recreation Club is to promote an active and inclusive community through our sports and recreational facilities as well as our volunteering opportunities. We are a volunteer-run organisation and have various volunteering opportunities available.
