Beaulieu Convent School Frequently Asked Questions:  Q: What facilities are available for hire? A: Our Sports Centre includes a multi-use Sports Hall suitable for basketball, badminton, netball, indoor football, and more, as well as a dance studio with mirrors and heating / cooling system, ideal for dance, fitness classes, and rehearsals. We also have a smaller Sports Hall, outside Netball Courts and Astro Pitch area. Q: What are the opening hours for facility hire? A: Term time the sports centre is available for hire Monday to Friday from 5:00 PM – 9:30 PM and weekends from 9:00 AM – 9:30 PM. During the school holidays our facilities are available to hire Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM - 9:30 PM. Additional hours may be available upon request. Q: Who can hire the facilities? A: We welcome individuals, community groups, sports teams, fitness instructors, and event organisers to book our facilities. Q: Can any sport book Beaulieu’s facilities? A: No. Due to the specialist flooring and wall protection. We would need to know what our facilities are being used for.

Q: Do we just turn up at the Sports Centre when we have booked? A: Once your booking has been approved, you will receive an induction of our facilities.

Booking & Payment Q: How do I book a facility? A: In the first instance you will need to contact our administration team via email or phone. Regular block bookings are available for clubs and organisations via our Pitchbooking site. Q: How much does it cost to hire the facilities? A: Prices vary depending on the facility, duration, and type of booking. Please contact us for a price list. Q: Do I need to pay a deposit? A: Yes, a deposit may be required to secure your booking. The remaining balance must be paid before your session. Q: Do I need insurance? A: Yes. If you are a club we will need to see a copy of your Public Liability insurance.

Facilities & Equipment Q: Is sports equipment provided? A: No. Users must bring their own balls, rackets, or specialist equipment. Q: Does the dance studio have a sound system? A: Yes, the dance studio is equipped with a sound system. Please bring your own device to connect via Bluetooth or AUX. Rules & Regulations Q: Are there any restrictions on activities? A: Certain activities may require prior approval, and no hazardous or high-risk activities are permitted without proper supervision and risk assessment. Q: Can I bring food and drinks? A: Only water bottles are allowed in the Sports Centre. Food and other drinks must be consumed outside the building. Q: Do you offer changing rooms and showers? A: Yes, we have changing rooms with showers available for hirers.

Cancellations & Refunds Q: What is your cancellation policy? A: Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance to receive a full refund. Late cancellations may be subject to a charge. OR. If we are able to fill your space, you will receive a full refund. Q: What happens if my booking is cancelled by the school? A: In rare cases where we need to cancel a booking, we will of course offer an alternative date or a full refund.
