The EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) sets a new standard for how companies use and protect EU citizens’ data. It will take effect from May 2018.

What is GDPR?

The EU General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) is a comprehensive data protection law that came into effect on May 25, 2018. It replaced existing EU Data Protection law to strengthen the protection of “personal data” and the rights of the individual. It's a single set of rules which governs the processing and monitoring of EU data.

We reviewed all data handled by Pitchbooking We have undertaken an audit on all our business activities impacted by GDPR and ensured compliance with the new regulations.

We updated our Privacy and Cookie Policy: Strong data protection commitments are a key part of GDPR’s requirements. Our updated privacy and cookie policy outlines how we use, store and manage your personal data.

We co-ordinated with our third party providers We have reviewed all our third party providers. Third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us.

We informed our staff on the requirements of GDPR and Pitchbooking’s data privacy procedures. All staff know what GDPR is and the processes to follow to ensure compliance.
