The FA Referee Course will equip new referees with the key skills and knowledge they will need to be able to referee grassroots football matches safely and effectively. It is for people aged 14 and over who want to referee mini soccer, 9 v 9 and/or 11 v 11 football.
PREREQUESITE REQUIREMENTS: Minimum age 14. To book onto the face-to-face course, learners MUST have completed the two online courses FA Laws of the Game and FA Safeguarding for ALL (Please note: FA Safeguarding for ALL expires every 2-years so please ensure you keep your certificate in-date). Anyone aged 16 or over MUST hold an in-date FA DBS to be able to officiate, this includes your 5 practice matches.
