The main objective of this session is to enhance your assistant referee skills, and it will be conducted by experienced Assistant Referees from the County. The session will consist of two parts: an outdoor practical session and an indoor theory session. During the practical session, you will have the opportunity to apply your skills in a real-life scenario, receiving guidance and feedback from the experienced referees. This hands-on experience will help you develop a better understanding of the role and responsibilities of an assistant referee.
Following the practical session, the focus will shift to the theoretical aspect of assistant refereeing. The indoor theory session will provide you with a comprehensive understanding of the rules and regulations of the game, as well as the specific duties and responsibilities of an assistant referee. The experienced referees will share their knowledge and expertise, covering various topics such as offside decisions, signaling techniques, and communication with the main referee and players.
