At Pitchbooking, we have always been committed to fostering sports participation in local communities and safeguarding the future of sports clubs and their facilities. Our award-winning pitch booking system and online event management solution have been instrumental in making it easier for the public to get more active across a range of sports, from football to ultimate frisbee.
Now, we are taking our commitment to the next level by introducing "Game On!", our financial commitment to Women's and Girls Sport. This new project aims to enable any sports facility or event operator to host events for Women & Girls, free of charge, from their Pitchbooking dashboard. We believe that sports should be accessible to everyone, and by encouraging our Partners to host classes, camps & coaching sessions without charge on our platform, we hope to facilitate an increase in engagement in Sporting Events for women and girls at grassroots level.
With the successful launch of Pitchbooking Events in partnership with the Irish Football Association (IFA) in 2022, we have already demonstrated our dedication to facilitating sports events and making the booking process seamless for both organisers and participants. Together with the IFA, we proudly processed over 10,000 bookings for the McDonald's sponsored Fun Football programme, encouraging more children to get involved in the beautiful game.
Now, the IFA are our first major Partner to make use of this initiative, for their two largest female Events, the EE Just for Kicks and Electric Ireland Shooting Stars programmes.
